Happy New Year! Now get ready to file your FAFSA (Whoopee!)

A new year is upon us, and soon you’ll be able to begin working on your tax return, which means you can also start working on your student’s annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – if you want to be eligible to receive need based financial aid.

The Manchester University deadline for submitting the FAFSA to the U.S. Department of Education is March 1. Although you'll need to include information from your 2012 tax return, it's not too early to begin preparing your FAFSA now.

When filling out and submitting the form, designate Manchester University as your student's FAFSA recipient. The Manchester University institutional code is 001820.
You can file your 2013-2014 FAFSA online at You'll use your federal PIN to sign and/or check the status of your application. If you don't have a PIN go to
