Dr. Sara Thompson joined Manchester University in July of 2022 as Assistant Director of Experiential Education and Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice. She previously served on the faculty at North Dakota State University (NDSU) School of Pharmacy in Fargo, North Dakota, specializing in oncology and medical Spanish. Dr. Thompson is a PharmD graduate of Belmont University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, Tennessee with a specialized concentration in Public Health and Missions. She completed a post-graduate year 1 (PGY-1) pharmacy residency at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by a PGY-2 in Pharmacotherapy with an emphasis in Family Medicine and Academia at the University of Texas at El Paso School of Pharmacy. She is currently a candidate for a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership at the NDSU School of Education.
