...because a little bit of nourishment allows a Spartan to thrive and grow!

In 2018, Manchester University joined with fellow regional colleges/universities to participate in U CAN Crush Hunger. This event was a great opportunity for Spartans to live out the mission and values of the university. During the event, a student stated, "We should keep food here because we need it too." Director Ali Goetcheus agreed and kept a donation barrel for the campus. Over the next nine months, Manchester University created a pop-up pantry to help gauge the utilization of students faculty and staff.

In the Fall of 2019, Manchester University formed theAcorns Campus Pantry, located in the Augustus and Lockie Chinworth Center, Suite 116.
