What it means to 'practice' resurrection

Philippians 3:10a

"I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection..."

Having lived close to the natural world throughout his life, Randall has strong connections with God’s creation. He’s been practicing and teaching wildlife tracking, bird language, naturalist and survival skills for over a decade. Prior to that he spent five years in pastoral ministry, serving two Church of the Brethren congregations in Indiana. Called to be coyote to the church, he’s passionate about connecting people with creation (a.k.a. ‘rewilding’ our faith) and awakening our discipleship to Christ.

Randall grew up in the Church of the Brethren in west-central Ohio and attended Manchester University where he majored in Religion and Psychology. He attended the Tracker School and is a graduate of the Anake Outdoor School, a year-long adult immersion program of Wilderness Awareness School. Currently a licensed minister in the CoB and a TRiM student at Bethany; he’s serving as the director at Camp Brethren Heights in Michigan, where he lives with his wife and children. When he’s not exploring the wild, you can find him pickin’ and grinnin’ (on the guitar, banjo, & mandolin), reading, writing, wood working, exploring masculine spirituality, and being a dad (although not in that order). He can be reached at ancientpaths.os@gmail.com
