Are you on track?

Make sure you’re not missing anything! Complete the following checklist to make sure you have completed all of the necessary requirements. You need to check off all of the following tasks to ensure that you are prepared:

Important Dates

  • Submit your $250 Enrollment Deposit via mail, over the phone (800-852-3648), or online.
  • Take your Placement Exams via ChetNet.
  • Submit your Housing Form or Request to Live Off Campus Form online by May 1.
  • Submit your Summer Orientation Reservation Form online by May 24.
  • Submit your required Health Form online by Aug. 1.
  • Request final official transcripts for any dual-credit courses you’ve taken in high school. These should be mailed to the Office of Admissions as soon as available.

 

Don't forget to mark these important dates in your calendar:

  • Summer Orientation – June 11, 13, 20, and 28
  • Welcome Week – Aug. 24-27, 2019
  • Fall 2019 classes begin Aug. 28, 2019



ChetNet

ChetNet

ChetNet is the University's intranet. Here you'll find much of the information you need to know that's too personal or secure to put onto the University's website, such as forms and account information. Once you’re a student here, you’ll also use ChetNet to find important University announcements, news, and information about events. Most importantly, this is where you’ll get your grades at the end of the semester. See these instructions for logging into ChetNet.

You will need to access your MU ChetNet account during Summer Orientation, so please make sure you can login to ChetNet BEFORE your Summer Orientation session. If you have any problems, email helpdesk@manchester.edu.

Orientation and Placement Exams

Your Manchester University experience begins in June with Summer Orientation.

Parents, guardians, family, and other guests are welcome to attend. They can attend a special session planned for them while you participate in other orientation activities.

Summer Orientation dates for 2019 are June 11, 13, 20, and 28. Submit your summer orientation reservation form online by May 24!

Placement Exams

It is very important that you review the Placement Exam Information. Placement exams are critical in appropriately placing students in courses that meet their skill level. While there is not a specific study guide for these exams, we encourage students to try their best as these will affect your academic plan for your four years at Manchester University. 

All students are required to take a mathematics exam. All placement exams are administered online.

Required Health Forms

All students are required to have a completed a required Health form, current physical, required immunizations, and emergency medical card on file with Health Services by August 1. If student is a minor prior to coming to campus, they are required to also have parents/guardians print, complete and upload the minor release form located in Medicatconnect.

Textbooks

Order textbooks online from the Manchester University Campus Store. A complete book list will be available on the Campus Store website two weeks prior to the start of classes. Pick up books at the store before the start of classes.

Money Matters

The Office of Student Financial Services assists students in payments of tuition and other fees, and credits accounts with financial aid, loans and scholarships. Students need to discuss their financial aid with their admissions counselor before they can be ready to register for classes.

The Business Office provides services to students such as check cashing, money orders and payment for campus employment. An ATM is located on the lower level of the Jo Young Switzer Center.

Students can apply for a variety of campus employment positions to help offset college costs.

Meals

All resident students are required to be on a meal plan, with several options available. Meals are served at Haist Commons in the Jo Young Switzer Center, or students can buy a la carte items from The Oaks Snack Bar, or grab food-to-go from Wilbur’s featuring Cru5h.
