Pandemic tests resilience of Manchester community

Spring semester’s opening convocation encouraged Manchester students to “be resilient and to be bright lights for others.” When President Dave McFadden ’82 chose that topic, he had no idea how resilient the MU community would need to be. Learn more.

Relief bill includes additional deduction

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) includes a one-time, above-the-line deduction for cash contributions of up to $300 made to certain qualifying charities. All taxpayers are eligible to take the deduction, which applies to contributions made in 2020.

Manchester waives enrollment deposit for fall

Manchester University is waiving the enrollment deposit for incoming undergraduate students this fall as part of its overall strategy in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more

Undergraduates may take most classes pass/no pass

Manchester will allow undergraduate students the option of taking a pass/no pass grade in most classes this semester if they get approval from their academic advisor. Learn more.
