Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is a fundraiser for Heifer International. The event is sponsored by Campus Interfaith Board. Choose a handmade bowl, fill it with soup and enjoy a simple lunch with MU students, faculty, staff and the local community. Suggested donations are $5 for students and children, $10 for faculty, staff and community members. All proceeds will go to Heifer International thanks to generous donations from the Peace Studies Institute, Art Department, Chartwells and community businesses.
There will be entertainment by Friends with the Weather and the Chicago Folklore Ensemble, children’s activities, door prizes, good food and fellowship. The rain location for this event is in Wilbur’s and Petersime Chapel.
