Sarah Kurtz ’79 receives prestigious international prize for “exceptional, profound" work in photovoltaic energy

Manchester College grad Sarah Kurtz has been named Dan David Prize Laureate for 2007. She shares the $1 million prize with co-worker Jerry Olson at the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and a NASA scientist.

Eracleo Vallejo 5th in national NCAA championships

Sophomore Eracleo Vallejo took All-American honors as he wrestled to fifth place at the NCAA Divison II National Championships on March 3.

19 put diplomacy skills to work at National Model U.N.

It was like being in 50 countries at once," says faculty advisor Dr. Benson C. Onyeji of Manchester College's participation in the Harvard National Model United Nations in Boston.
