Manchester University’s Homecoming and Family Weekend 2023 is Friday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 7 at the North Manchester campus.

Manchester University’s Homecoming and Family Weekend 2023 is Friday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 7 at the North Manchester campus.

Reunions this year are for the classes of 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018. 

Scheduled events that are open to the public include: 

  • Zoology club tour at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Science Center
  • Department showcases across campus from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Spartan Street Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. between Wine Recital Hall and Cunningham Academic Center (Cash only)
  • Pharmacy and Health Sciences Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Manchester University Mall
  • Kids Zone from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Mall
  • Meet President Stacy H. Young from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. in Link Auditorium, Cunningham Academic Center
  • Food trucks open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. next to Spartan Stadium
  • Performance by local band Friends with the Weather from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Funderburg Library patio
  • Football game vs. Rose Hulman at 1:30 p.m. at Spartan Stadium
  • Peace studies plaque dedication at 2 p.m. in the Gladdys Muir Peace Garden
  • Tanglewood Marionettes performances at 4 and 6:30 p.m. in Wine Recital Hall
  • Volleyball game 7 p.m. in Stauffer Wolfe Arena

The Campus Store, Petersime Chapel and Gallery G, located in the upper level of the Jo Young Switzer Center, will be open throughout the day. 

In the days leading up to the weekend festivities, there will be a coffee hour with President Young streamed on Facebook at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, an esports open house in Calvin Ulrey Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and the Alumni Honor Awards and Athletics Hall of Fame reception and banquet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the upper level of the Switzer Center on Friday.
