MU alumnus helps Ethiopian girl regain sight

1978 Manchester graduate Dr. Joel Boaz, a pediatric neurosurgeon with Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, is among a team of doctors who volunteered their services to remove a tumor from the eye of 4-year-old Belul Yitbarek, who traveled from her home in the north of Ethiopia to Indianapolis for the surgery.
