ABSN Application and Admission Requirements

Application cycles and fees

Applications for admission are accepted from August 12 through June 1 each year. Application materials are to be submitted through the Nursing Centralized Application Service (NursingCAS). NursingCAS charges an application processing fee of $60 for the first program application and $45 for each additional use. The application fee for each program is paid at the time of submission using your debit or credit card and must be paid through their respective online payment systems.

Applications for Fall 2024 are being accepted

The application deadline is June 1, however the admissions committee reviews applications on a rolling basis until the class is filled. If you are interested in the Fall 2024 program, submit your application as soon as possible to be considered for a seat in the class for Fall 2024!

 

Apply with NursingCAS

 

Students accepted to the Accelerated BSN Second Degree Program for the Fall 2024 semester will be required to submit a $250 non-refundable enrollment fee to secure their seat in the class within two weeks of receiving an offer.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a final, preferred minimum overall GPA of 3.0. When appropriate, GPA will be calculated by the Office of Admissions using all completed course work, including coursework from other colleges and universities.

*Manchester University’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) Second Degree Program does not have approval from Homeland Security to accept international students for the 2024-2025 academic school year. International Students are not eligible to apply to the Accelerated BSN Second Degree Program at this time.

All eligible applicants will be interviewed as part of the application process after submitting a completed application.

Accreditation Status: 
The Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program and and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Manchester University are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org).
