Posted Sept. 22 - Ahmed Abdelmageed, director of experiential learning for the MU Pharmacy Program, was a presenter at the Refugee Summit in Fort Wayne on Sept. 21. The event focused on health care for the region’s refugee and immigrant populations, raising awareness about access, health literacy, language support, dietary differences, cultural competencies and other issues.

The Fort Wayne Community Schools reports that more than 72 languages are spoken in Fort Wayne.
