Mary Lahman, professor of communication studies, has been selected to present at the International Listening Association Convention in Tucson, Ariz., on Friday, March 11. Her presentation, titled “A Listening-Centered Approach to the Basic Communication Course,” explores how the MU Communication Studies faculty redesigned the COMM 110: Foundations of Human Communication course and developed a new textbook to focus on listening skills across communication contexts.
