by Anthea Ayebaze | Sep 28, 2016

Manchester University is one of 208 schools from across all college divisions to have its men’s and women’s 2014-15 teams receive the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s college team academic awards, announced Sept. 23. MU’s men were honored for the ninth time since 2000 and the fifth straight year, while the women received the accolade for the sixth time and fourth consecutive year.

The NSCAA annually recognizes college and high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. A total of 859 soccer teams (305 men and 554 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to be recognized.
