MU will be represented at NEA meetings in D.C.

Kurt Kurtzhals, visiting instructor of education, has been selected by the Indiana State Teachers Association to represent Indiana at the National Education Association (NEA) Representative Assembly (RA) this July in Washington, D.C.  As a member of the Elections Committee, Kurtzhals will help oversee all elections of the RA.

Bradley Williams, a sophomore history education major, has been elected by the state student organization to represent Indiana at the 2016 NEA Student Program, also in Washington, D.C. In addition, Logan Williams, a first-year elementary education major, has been selected as a non-delegate for the summer program.

Heather Schilling, associate professor of education, has been selected to serve as the campus advisor during the NEA Student Program. She will continue on in Washington as a non-delegate helping the Political Action Committee.
