Record number of MU students to perform at IMEA

Posted Dec. 9 - A record number of MU students will perform at The Indiana Music Educators Association (IMEA) conference Jan. 11-14 at the Grand Wayne Center and Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne. This year, the IMEA Intercollegiate Masterworks Ensemble will rehearse and perform Orff’s famous work Carmina Burana. They will be under the direction of Joshua Habermann, music director for the Santa Fe Desert Chorale and director of the Dallas Symphony Choir.

MU’s selectees are: Mykayla Neilson, alto; Angela Ebert, tenor or alto; MacKenzi Lowry, percussion; Michael Rueff, bass; Kenzie Hare, soprano; Jake Svay, tenor; Clayton Marcum, tenor; Emily Lynn, soprano; Hayley Cochran, alto; Matthew Grothouse, baritone; Sierra Lehman, soprano; and Tiffany Reith, alto.
