Posted Feb. 22 - Three Environmental Studies majors recently presented scientific oral papers at the joint meeting of the American Fisheries Society from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. The MU students were the only undergraduates presenting at the meeting.

Joshua Long presented on "Smallmouth bass spawn and total suspended solids in the Eel River near North Manchester, Ind." Alan Mock presented on "Black bass in the Eel River of north central Indiana: A population assessment."  Alan has been accepted into the graduate program at Grand Valley State University. Cassandra Root presented on "Low-head dam removal on the Eel River in northern Indiana:  An ecological assessment."
