Posted Nov. 17 - The preliminary round of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) college counseling competition attracted a number of MU pharmacy students with 10 advancing to the next round. In the preliminary round, pharmacy students provide counseling regarding a prescription. Of the 10 MU students who will compete in the final round next spring, one student will be selected to represent Manchester in the national counseling competition.
The 10 students advancing to the next round are (in alphabetical order): Mona Awadalla, Molly Corder, Kimberly Cox, Eva Escobedo, Jonell Nwabueze, Aakash Patel, Lisa Pineros-Jacobs, Shaun Say, Megan Sexton and Sara Shahdoost.
