Posted Jan. 10 - An article written by third-year pharmacy student Sara Shahdoost Moghadam is featured in the latest edition of the University Points of Contact newsletterpublished by the United States Public Health Service. In “Discovering Pharmaceutical Care in Native Communities,” Sara writes about her experience working with the Bemidji and the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, both in Minnesota. Her externships, she says, improved her clinical knowledge and cultural sensitivity.
