Heather Schilling, Manchester director of teacher education, shared that on March 24, 2023, the Elizabeth Schilling Adjust Your Sails Foundation, Inc. launched 15 months after her daughter's death. This non-profit, a labor of love of her family and friends, has two important goals:

1. Raise money to support brain cancer research, focusing on research being conducted in the Midwest, including Indiana, Ohio and Minnesota.
2. Inspire people to face life’s challenges with a positive attitude and hope through leadership development, self-improvement and educational seminars instilling Elizabeth’s spirit for life.
