Manchester physical education major is Midwest Outstanding Student


MiKayla DuzanMiKayla Duzan, a Manchester University physical education major from Valparaiso, Ind., has received the Midwest Outstanding Student Award from the Society for Health and Physical Educators.

She will be honored on Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Hall of Fame Banquet for the Indiana Society for Health and Physical Educators (InSHAPE). 

The Morgan Township Middle/High School graduate now advances in the national competition for the Ruth Abernathy Scholarship.

Last spring, Duzan was selected by by InSHAPE as its Outstanding Student of the Year.
