Manchester student to receive Indiana Pharmacists Association scholarship


Erum RivziManchester University student Erum Rizvi has been selected to receive a Joseph McSoley Scholarship by the Indiana Pharmacists Association.

She will receive the award April 12 at the 2019 Indiana Pharmacists Convention in Noblesville.

According to the notification letter, her leadership played a large role in the statewide association growing its student membership 78 percent, to 420 students, in 2018.

Rizvi is a fourth-year student in the professional pharmacy doctoral program at Manchester University in Fort Wayne, Ind. She is from Carmel, Ind.

She is graduating in May from the pharmacy program. Her fourth-year rotations have included experiences at the Indiana Pharmacists Association, Eli Lilly, St. Vincent Indianapolis, Omnicare long-term care pharmacy, Corizon, Walmart and Columbus Regional Health.
