Manchester sets Black & Gold Day orientation for June 13

Manchester University has set undergraduate orientation for Monday, June 13 on its North Manchester campus.

Black & Gold Day offers new Spartans a full day to meet their classmates, get better acquainted with the campus community, learn about student life and prepare for their first semester as college students.

They will meet with faculty in their areas of interest, receive their class schedule and learn more about Manchester’s supportive services.

“Manchester is a close-knit community, and Black & Gold Day is an opportunity to meet friends for life and start making the transition to university life,” said Ryon Kaopuiki, vice president of admissions and marketing. “We want them to be as ready as possible for their first year.”

First-year student move-in is Aug. 25, which kicks off the Week of Welcome. Classes start Aug. 29
