Manchester nursing students celebrate ‘Signing Day’ with Parkview Health

Manchester University students in the accelerated nursing program made their career plans official in Manchester’s inaugural “Parkview Health Signing Day” on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Mirro Center for Research and Innovation in Fort Wayne.

  • Joshua Collins is joining Ortho Trauma at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
  • Molly Street is joining Ortho Trauma at Parkview Ortho Hospital.
  • Sara Lake will join the operating room at Parkview Noble Hospital.

The Accelerated BSN Second Degree is for those who already have a bachelor’s degree in another field and would like to pursue a path toward becoming a registered nurse. Manchester offers a full-time, 16-month program based at Manchester University Fort Wayne.

Manchester’s Advanced Simulation Lab is the Mirro Center. Parkview Regional Medical Hospital, one of the program’s clinical practice sites, is also nearby in the complex at Dupont and Diebold roads.

Manchester also offers a four-year traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
