Manchester University will host high school students again this year for Spartan Smash 2023 on Saturday, Nov. 18. At the invitational, players will compete in a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament, and the top eight will be eligible for a $3,000 esports scholarship to Manchester University.

Manchester University officials held a small beam-raising ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 26 to commemorate the placement of the location’s final structural beam and completion of the building’s expanded frame.
