Cold cancels classes, activities at Manchester University
Update: The MLK Remembrance & Rededication Ceremony will go forward as scheduled at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, in Cordier Auditorium.
Because of cold weather in the forecast, both campuses of Manchester University will close at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 and reopen at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1.
Essential student services will remain at the North Manchester residential campus. Some buildings will be closed and others will be partially open to provide warming stations between residential halls and dining services.
There will be no athletic events and the MLK Remembrance & Rededication Ceremony will be rescheduled.
