Manchester University Office of Admissions issued the following statement Saturday:

Manchester University has a long tradition of supporting peaceful protests and respecting an individual’s right to express their beliefs. Students who have applied or been admitted to MU will face no adverse admission consequences as the result of participation in peaceful protest.
