Admission Requirements

Competitive and Selective

Admission to the MU DPT Program is competitive and selective. Qualifying candidates will be invited for an interview on campus on DPT Interview Day and offered admission to the program. Applicants must meet all criteria to be eligible to apply to the program.

Eligibility

All applicants must successfully complete a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant stream of studies, with a minimum GPA of 3.0, before seeking admission to Manchester University's DPT Program.

*Manchester University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program does not have approval from Homeland Security to accept international students for the cohort starting in Summer 2023. International Students are not eligible to apply to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at this time.

Personal Statement

All applicants submit a personal statement of purpose describing their professional and personal aspirations. Additionally, each also submits the value they hope to add to the program and profession. The statement will be evaluated based on structure, grammar and intent. 

Interviews

All eligible applicants will be interviewed as part of the application process after submitting a completed application.
