University Safety

The safety and security of the Manchester University Fort Wayne community and their guests are a primary concern of the University. The Fort Wayne campus has an active security patrol between the hours of 7 a.m. and midnight, which includes patrol of the building, parking lot and surrounding campus. The building hours to the public are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed on Saturday and Sunday. The building hours for students are 7 a.m. - midnight, Monday through Friday, and Saturday and Sunday 3 p.m. - midnight. Students must use their proximity ID card to access the building prior to 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

Automobile Regulations

All students, faculty and staff members’ cars must be registered and bear the parking tag obtained from the Office of University Safety on the North Manchester campus. Vehicle owners will be held responsible for the proper use of their cars, even when driven by other people. The University assumes no liability or responsibility for the loss of or damage inflicted on motor vehicles while parked on the Fort Wayne campus property. Students who bring a vehicle to the facility should be sure to have proper insurance coverage.
