HarshbergerSpend some time with former and current Manchester University faculty.  They will discuss current events, what Manchester is doing now in other parts of the world, and how to better manage your health. All session will be held in the Academic Center.

Interest Session 1: Ed Miller ‘56 and professor Jeffrey Osborne talking about their trips taking MU students to Nicaragua as part of Manchester University’s Medical Practicum.  


Interest Session 2: Richard Harshbarger ’56 will talk about International Trade:  Good or Bad.  Should we set tariffs on imports and protect our industries?  Are Trade Wars beneficial?  

Interest Session 3: Thelma Rohrer ’84 will talk about Manchester’s Study Abroad program.

Interest Session 4: Sandra Hrometz will discuss Effectively Managing Your Health After Age 65 … “Hey Doc, I Ain't Dead Yet”. This presentation will discuss how not only an individual’s health changes as they age, but their healthcare needs change as well. Sandra will talk about avoiding the pitfalls of having too many prescribers, too many medications, too many procedures, too many health care expenses and not enough input or influence into your own health and well-being. This lecture will not only provide education but will also encourage individuals to be proactive with their health and open discussion on determining individual priorities for maintaining a high quality of life and prolonged independence.
