Each year, the Environmental Studies Program honors individuals and organizations that have been exceptional in their support of the program’s mission to provide students experiential learning opportunities and rigorous academics rooted in natural sciences, political sciences, economics, and philosophy to better understand the human endeavor in the context of responsible environmental stewardship.

This year the Program will honor Dr. Jerry Sweeten and Melinda Sweeten for their many years of work in support of Environmental Studies Program.
