Healthy MU

Program Overview

Healthy MU is a student-led program to obtain practical client work with volunteering faculty/staff. Students will be teamed with one faculty/staff to aid in the completion of fitness and nutrition goals. Mentors in both areas will oversee the programming and education of students and clients. The program will last for approximately 15 weeks (one semester) unless the student or client are dismissed due to non-compliance.

Mission

Healthy MU aspires to be the leaders of health and wellness through student-led programming for healthy living. The program seeks to educate and guide faculty and staff toward healthy exercise and nutrition decisions. Through student research, technology, and practical skills, Healthy MU will strive to create a healthy and inviting environment for healthy choices and lifestyle.
