Transfer Course Equivalencies
If you have previously attended another university and are interested in transferring to Manchester, one of your first questions is probably – “Which of my current coursework will transfer for credit?”
Below you will find a list of courses from surrounding Universities for which Manchester will accept credit when you transfer. On the far right of the sheet you can also find which of these courses will fulfill a Manchester Core Curriculum Requirement.
A grade of C or above (not C-) must be earned for credits to transfer. Grades are not transferrable.

Transfer Credit Evaluation Requests and Questions
Current Manchester University students may request a transfer credit evaluation at any time following the below process:
- Send an email request to the Office of the Registrar stating what courses you are requesting transfer credit for.
- Things to include in the email: official transcript, course descriptions or syllabi, any additional documentation that you feel will be helpful in the credit review.
- The Office of the Registrar will complete a transfer credit evaluation based on the official transcript and additional information that is provided.
- The student will receive an Official Transfer Credit Report stating what courses they will be receiving credit for.
Future Manchester University students may also request a transfer credit evaluation at any time by contacting the Office of Admissions or their Admissions Counselor.


Advanced Placement Credit Equivalencies
Manchester University will accept credit for the Advanced Placement (AP) Program courses listed here. The credits can be used to fulfill Core, major and minor requirements, or can be used as elective hours toward graduation. Questions about AP credit should be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 260-982-5234 or registrar@manchester.edu.
Prospective students should request their AP scores be sent to Manchester University at the time of the examination. If requesting score reports after the exam has been taken, contact:
