Transfer Course Equivalencies

If you have previously attended another university and are interested in transferring to Manchester, one of your first questions is probably – “Which of my current coursework will transfer for credit?”

Manchester University accepts credits earned at regionally accredited institutions with a grade of C or higher. Grades, however, are not transferable. Credits accepted will be applied towards degree requirements. Students currently enrolled at Manchester University who wish to transfer credit for courses taken at other academic institutions (for example, in summer school programs) should secure approval from the Registrar’s Office before taking the course. Without prior approval, no assurance of transfer credit can be made.

Transfer credit evaluations can be requested upon submission of an unofficial or official transcript. No credit will be awarded until an official transcript has been received.

For questions about transferring credits to Manchester University, future students may contact the Office of Admissions. Current students should contact the Office of the Registrar.

Advanced Placement Credit Equivalencies

Manchester University will accept credit for the Advanced Placement (AP) Program courses listed here. The credits can be used to fulfill Core, major and minor requirements, or can be used as elective hours toward graduation. Questions about AP credit should be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 260-982-5234 or registrar@manchester.edu.

Prospective students should request their AP scores be sent to Manchester University at the time of the examination. If requesting score reports after the exam has been taken, contact:
