Pharmacy Residency Research—What’s That All About?

As part of the Research and Innovative Practice Seminar Series, Dr. David Lee will present an overview of research within pharmacy residency programs and its role in modern clinical practice.

This seminar will explore how residency-based research differs from traditional pharmaceutical science research, with an emphasis on practice-driven inquiry, clinical decision-making, and patient-centered outcomes. Attendees will gain insight into how research is integrated into residency training and how it supports innovation across clinical and community pharmacy settings.

PGY-1 Pharmacy Resident, Cleveland Clinic Euclid Hospital

Dr. Lee earned his PharmD from Ohio Northern University in 2024. After practicing as a community pharmacist, he returned to residency training to pursue a career in critical care. His interests focus on blending community pharmacy experience with clinical research to support holistic patient care.
