Lahman, Calka, McKenna-Buchanan take active roles at convention

Communication studies faculty member Mary Lahman, Michelle Calka and Tim McKenna-Buchanan were in Madison, Wisconsin, March 31-April 3 for the Central States Communication Association Annual Convention. Professor Lahman and Associate Professor McKenna-Buchanan, along with colleagues from Denison University and University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, led a short course for faculty entitled, “Connecting Educators for Cooperative Inquiry: Using Narrative Inquiry to Understand Educator and Student Learning Identities and Growth Experiences.”

McKenna-Buchanan was also part of the “Melissa Beall Award Top Panel”: Re-Connecting on the Front Porch: Re-examining the Positioning of Basic Course in General Education "Post" Pandemic.

Associate Professor Calka was a respondent for the "Media, Memes, and Digital Spaces" Paper Session and a presenter for the "Media Studies Interest Group: Re-Connect Networking Session."
