Prerequisite Requirements
To qualify for admission into the Doctor of Pharmacy Program, applicants must satisfy the prerequisites for undergraduate coursework listed below. These required courses need not culminate in an undergraduate degree, however:
- applicants must achieve a preferred minimum 2.5 GPA in both cumulative and prerequisite GPAs; a minimum 2.25 science and math GPA is also preferred for consideration.
- no grade below a “C-” will count toward prerequisite coursework
- all prerequisite coursework must be completed by the spring prior to the fall you wish to enroll (preferably by July 1 for the current admissions cycle)
Courses completed at an accredited institution are acceptable towards prerequisite requirements; Applicants who completed pre-pharmacy studies outside the U.S. will be required to submit a course-by-course foreign credit evaluation report from World Education Services (WES) for each international transcript directly to PharmCAS.

Note: To qualify for maximum financial aid eligibility, pharmacy students must have 72 credit hours completed in order to qualify for professional student federal aid.
