Residential Life - New Student Information

Students gathering in a residence hall

Residence Hall Planning Information

This will give you an idea of what items you may wish to bring with you to campus as well as answers to a few questions that you might have in regards to your room. This also allows you to see what each of our five residence halls has to offer, room dimensions and more. All of East Hall and a portion of Garver Hall are first-year only buildings, and all other halls will house only sophomore, junior and senior students.

Express Check-In

Avoid the rush of move-in day by requesting to move your belongings into your residence hall early! We allow students who are fully registered in courses, cleared for on campus housing, and cleared by Student Financial Services to bring their belongings to campus early to get a jump on setting up their room for the fall. This is not the date the student will begin living in their residence hall. Students and families can move belongings in and then are expected to leave campus.

Students wishing to sign up for Express Check-In should fill out this form.

Important Info to Know:

  • Once the form has been completed and approved students will receive an email including their assigned date, time, and route.
  • To qualify for Express Check-In students must be fully registered for courses, cleared for on campus housing, and cleared by Student Financial Services.
  • Students may bring up to two guests to assist them on their designated day.
  • Students and guests must wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
