Dr. W. Thomas “Tommy” Smith, PharmD, JD serves as Dean of the School of Pharmacy at Manchester University, where he oversees the Doctor of Pharmacy, Pharmacogenomics, and Nutrition and Nutrigenomics programs and co-leads the College of Health Professions, Nursing & Pharmacy. Since joining Manchester in 2015, he has guided the School through multiple successful accreditation reviews and expanded academic offerings, including launching one of the nation’s first distance PharmD pathways, the first fully online M.S. in Pharmacogenomics, and the nation’s first PharmD/M.S. dual degree in Pharmacogenomics.
