An all-day event, the Student Research Symposium is one of the largest annual gatherings at Manchester University. Beginning at 9am, in the upper JYSC at MU North Manchester (Lahman Room, within the Academic Center).
Possible presentations:
- Oral Presentation of Research
- Poster Presentation of Research
- Video Exhibit
- Video Game Demonstration
- Vocal or Instrumental Music Performance
- Art Exhibit
- Teaching Demonstration
Showcase Your Work at MU’s Student Research Symposium
Ready to share your ideas, creativity, and discoveries? Submit a proposal to present at MU’s Student Research Symposium! This is your chance to highlight your research, performance, or artistic work. Plus, you’ll gain valuable experience sharing it with the campus community.
You can choose from several presentation formats: oral or poster presentation, musical or artistic performance, video exhibit or demonstration, or even a teaching demo. Just include a short title and a 200–300 word abstract describing your topic, purpose, approach, and conclusions.
If your project involves human subjects, make sure your application is reviewed and approved by your faculty mentor before submission. You’ll also need to include your co-presenters’ names and your mentor’s contact info.
Whether you’re presenting research, performing, or displaying your art, this is your opportunity to show what you’ve learned and how you’re growing as a scholar.
