According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary for a physical therapist was $91,010 annually ($43.75 per hour) in 2020. Due to the rapid growth of the health care industry, the demand for licensed physical therapists has also increased in recent years. The Bureau also projects 21 percent employment growth between 2020 and 2030, with 49 to 100 new PT jobs. That's the highest growth projected among health care jobs!
