Manchester University Nursing Graduates Earn 100% NCLEX Pass Rate — Setting the Standard for Indiana Nursing Schools

Dec 2, 2025

Manchester Nursing Students Achieve Perfect NCLEX Pass Rate

Graduates from Manchester University’s Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (TBSN) program have achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination. NCLEX is a national exam required for all nursing graduates seeking to become registered nurses (RNs). Specifically, this achievement demonstrates the University’s commitment to preparing highly skilled, compassionate nurses ready to serve in hospitals, clinics, and community health settings across Indiana and beyond.

Why the NCLEX Pass Rate Matters for Nursing Students

The NCLEX measures whether nursing graduates are ready to provide safe, effective care in real-world healthcare environments. As an example, the national average for first-time pass rate hovers around 80%. Manchester University scored at 100%. In contrast, a remarkable achievement. What’s more, this score is highly attractive to prospective students exploring Indiana nursing schools. That’s because a perfect NCLEX pass rate reflects both strong academic preparation and exceptional clinical experience.

Traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (TBSN)

A four-year nursing degree program that provides comprehensive classroom instruction, simulation lab training, and hands-on clinical experiences. The TBSN is ideal for first-time college students pursuing a traditional undergraduate pathway.

Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)

A 16-month, second-degree program for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field. Manchester’s ABSN program enables learners to transition into nursing quickly while maintaining the same rigorous academic standards and clinical excellence as the TBSN track.

The first ABSN cohort, which graduated in December 2022, also achieved a 100% NCLEX pass rate.

Manchester’s First TBSN Cohort Sets the Bar High

After graduating in May 2024, all nine students from Manchester’s first TBSN cohort passed the NCLEX on their first attempt. Their success lays a strong foundation for future nursing students. Additionally, it strengthens Manchester’s growing reputation as a leader in healthcare education, according to Dustin Diller, assistant dean of nursing at Manchester University.

“Achieving a 100% pass rate is a testament not only to their dedication, but also to the strength of our curriculum, the support of our faculty, and the quality of clinical experiences our students receive.”
