  • Jan. 19, 7 p.m., "Back to the Future: How much has really changed? Re-watching Shirley Chisholm's speech from her visit to Manchester in 1978," over Zoom

  • Feb. 8 – Manchester University faculty members and archivist present “A Project to Explore Racism and Anti-Racism” in Wabash County.

  • Feb. 18, 7 p.m., As part of the 50th anniversary commemoration of AAFRO House at Manchester, students will watch the film Malcolm X and a VIA panel will discuss social and political contexts that led to establishing the house at Manchester.
  • Feb. 15 – Kenapocomoco Peace Coalition at its meeting will discusses issues related to Black History Month. It will be on Zoom. Those interested can contact Virginia Rendler at
