Manchester University has announced the enrollment of Kalli Davis of Wabash, Ind., a first-generation college student, dedicated community servant, and standout pitcher who will join the Spartan softball team and Honors program this fall. Manchester University invites community to pop-up food pantry
Manchester University will host a Community Food Pantry on Friday, Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Activities Center, located on the first floor of the Chinworth Center. During the annual U Can Crush Hunger food drive event—a friendly competition between area colleges and universities—Manchester collected over 1,500 pounds of food. Manchester University celebrated 136 years as an institution with Founder’s Day on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Originally Roanoke Classical Seminary, the school was founded in 1889 when the seminary moved to North Manchester and became Manchester College. Manchester University hosted 220 high school students, representing 41 schools from Indiana and Ohio, for the annual Spartan Showdown tournament on Saturday, Nov. 1.
