Admission Requirements
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a final, preferred minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
When appropriate, GPA will be calculated by the Office of Admissions using all completed course work, including course work from other colleges and universities.
Applicants must have taken and passed the following courses with a grade of “C” or better:
- Human Growth and Development
- Anatomy with lab (must be taken within the last five years)
- Physiology with lab (must be taken within the last five years)
- Microbiology with lab
- Chemistry with lab
- Statistics
- Nutrition
A 3.0 GPA in the science courses listed above is preferred for consideration for admittance.
Prior to beginning the program students are required to complete:
- A CPR class through the American Heart Association with documentation provided
- Required vaccines and submit the immunization form
- Blood Borne Pathogen and HIPAA modules prior to beginning clinical rotations
- Background check and drug screen
