Manchester University is partnering with Parkview Health and Questa Education Foundation to provide financial support to students of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program.
The Questa Parkview ABSN Scholars program allows students to receive financial assistance throughout their enrollment in the form of a forgivable loan for two-thirds of their ABSN tuition. Funds will enable more students to achieve their ABSN degrees and start their careers at Parkview. Students receive 100% loan forgiveness when they graduate and work at Parkview for three years. Eligible students are invited to learn more and apply for Questa Parkview ABSN Scholar funding at www.questafoundation.org/parkview-absn-manchester-university.
Additionally, after six months working as a benefit-eligible nurse at Parkview, ABSN graduates will be eligible to participate in Parkview’s Student Loan Payback Program. This program will cover the balance of any tuition expense the student paid to Manchester using a student loan.
“Parkview is pleased to offer these resources to the future nurses graduating from Manchester University’s ABSN program. Manchester has done an excellent job of finding students with a passion for patient care and is bringing them to our region from across the country. We look forward to helping them make northern Indiana and northwest Ohio their home for a long time as they begin their career journey,” said Juli Johnson, Parkview Health Chief Nursing & Healthcare Markets Executive.
“We are proud to support the next generation of nurses by helping them find an affordable pathway to their dream careers. By partnering with local employers to offer resources that support affordability, we hope to empower students to focus on their education, their calling, and ultimately, the patients whose lives they will impact,” said Jana Grothaus, Director of Program Development at Questa Education Foundation.
“Partnering with a leading hospital gives our nursing students a clear and affordable path from the classroom to a meaningful career. This opportunity not only strengthens their clinical experience but also ensures they can step directly into roles where they are needed most,” added Tara Jenkins, Manchester University Dean of Health Professions & Nursing.
