  • Participating in our job shadowing or employer site visit programs
  • Attending career fairs and networking events
  • Partnering with faculty for a class project
  • Joining Manchester Connect and serve as a mentor
  • Sponsoring career or other student events

More details are listed below. Please do not hesitate to contact our office if we can assist you with planning your recruiting strategies and efforts.

On-Campus Interviews

We encourage you to interview students on campus and let us take care of the logistics. We will establish an interview scheduled based on your preference for length and number of interviews. Interview schedules are open sign-up for students. WE publicize your visit campus-wide including notifying qualified students via e-mail and faculty referrals.

Employer Site Visits

We can arrange for student groups to visit your organizations to learn more about your operations, needs, and expectations for future candidates.

Job Shadowing and Information Interviews

Students get a better sense of their chosen professions by experience them firsthand. Jobs shadowing is typically a one-day visit for a student to observe, ask questions and learn about the needs of your organization. Some students will simply conduct brief information interviews with professionals to learn more about their career fields and gather advice.

Career Fairs and Networking Events

We sponsor a number of opportunities throughout the year for you to meet students and promote opportunities at your organization. These events range from typical job fairs to more informal networking and informational events. Check out our events tab for this year’s schedule!

Class Projects

Faculty regularly partner with businesses and organizations to present “real world” challenges for students to tackle as a class project. Students benefit from the experience, while you benefit from the results of their work.

Manchester Mentors

We coordinate a mentoring program to match interested students with professionals in their chose career fields for a year-long relationship. Mentors provide advice and connections to students as they prepare for their transition from college to career.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Consider sponsoring a career event or publication to strengthen your brand on campus and recruit top candidates. See the SPONSORSHIP tab for more details.
