  • Manchester Symphony Orchestra Concert

    The Manchester Symphony Orchestra presents Music of England and Wales, featuring guest artist-in-residence Andrew Nesler, performing William Mathias' Piano Concerto No. 2. Nesler has performed throughout the United States, Canada, England, Wales, Germany, Czechia, and Austria. Specializing in post-World War II music, he earned a Master of Music degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he developed a particular interest in Welsh piano music. Dr. Debra Lynn will conduct the performance, which will also include Three Dances from Henry VIII by Edward German, Pavane and Gigue by William Byrd, and Penillion by Grace Williams.
